A massive group of chimps get teleported into Infinite Ikea and decide the humans are holding too much territory.

250 chimps vs the 60+ people in Ikea. Both get a full day of prep.

complete and utter stomp for the humans, their intelligence runs circles around the cimps and crossbows means they can just snipe

humans brought countless species to exctinction with just spears, chimps are nothing

considering it would be their only real advantage ? as i see there need to be 5 times as many chimps as the humans

Over is completely incorrect, chimpanzees ******* stomp the Swedes. Sure they're smarter, but that doesn't really matter that much here given how they probably wouldn't make any new weapons out of their existing resources considering existing feats (and the fact that they'd probably be too confused and possibly overconfident once the situation has been explained) to organise anything except positions); in the end it would all come down to if humans can snipe the chimpanzees before the chimps manoeuvre over their rudimentary fortifications and wreck them in close quarters combat (I can explain why spear combat probably wouldn't work that well). Can the IKEA customers do that? Unlikely. The low performance crossbows the humans have won't be that good at hitting the chimps at a high range or at aiming in general (especially considering the fact that they'd probably have shitty footing) and chimps are fast enough already that such a task would already be difficult. Humans would also be too used to fighting IKEA spawn to adjust their tactics so a reliance on their crossbows and fortifications might **** them.

tago, cavemen killed Mamooths with just spears and wits, the monkeys HAVE NOTHING on that

these people are used to deal against hordes of IKEA spawns, beings capable of ripping them apart in second, so they are very much experienced with dealing with enemies that outnumber and over strenght them

also iirc all the IKEA have weapons on hand already, so no the lack of weaponry is not an argument

also there's the fact a lot of human fortifications are far high up the ground, aka the chimps would have to climb up to them.

"tago, cavemen killed Mamooths with just spears and wits, the monkeys HAVE NOTHING on that"
They have superior action economy to a Mammoth and cover enough space via numbers to limit the mobility the humans would have to use the spear effectively. Also apparently they use knives, fire axes and hatchets, not spears. Even if they did I doubt that every one of them would have a spear anyway,

Don't they get ****** when in close quarters with those creatures? I'd imagine they'd adapt to using crossbows most of the time if they were a halfway competent town.

"also iirc all the IKEA have weapons on hand already, so no the lack of weaponry is not an argument"
Doesn't make much sense to hold weapons associated with different positions in the context of a town so could you source that.

"also there's the fact a lot of human fortifications are far high up the ground, aka the chimps would have to climb up to them."
These fortifications are also blatantly made out of different pieces of furniture that haven't been effectively repurposed into anything close to almost any fortification in history (which probably makes sense since they'd just lack necessary resources like mortar, not to mention the fact that they'd be getting attacked everyday.

It's also worth bringing up that the humans would have been weakened by IKEA staff in the span of the day of preparation (though that might be an illegal condition).
