What it meant to display is the difference between Article and Extended canons of the character but they can be removed if it doesn't change much.

Yeah I know what a key is and what it's for. I was just wondering why it was there if there's no differences on the profile itself. If such differences do exist in the articles and extended canon, I feel it would be best for them to be listed. If there aren't any differences then just get rid of the key.

The only differences are the extra feats he's gained but yeah I can remove them

If that's the case I'd say split the feats up in a tabber to make it article canon and extended canon so that they key can actually differentiate from something and could actually do something
