Science vs Soul magic! - Bete Noire vs Stephen Iscariot

I don't know if this is a stomp for either side, but i'll do it, since it seemed interesting.

Context:

Betty was searching in a lab she didn't know of to keep tracking down the DETERMINATION soul, and she found Stephen, as a giant blob of white mass there. It reminded her of amalgamates, but that white mass suddenly developed a form and the fight got triggered.

Theme

Betty vs Stephen Iscariot

This battle will be divided in two rounds:

Round 1

Betty stars at her base, and Stephen in his stem cell form (High 8-C vs 8-B)

Speed is = (This means Stephen can't amp up his reactions too)

Both are allowed to amp themselves in the course of the battle, Betty can use his HATE vial if she thinks it's time to use it and Stephen can induce himself with adrenaline if he wills to, and too his passive abilities of amping up. Note, not at the start, but later in the battle.

Both are in character.

The battle takes place in the lab, proper of Glitchtale.

Rest is SBA.

Round 2

Betty starts already with the HATE vial induced, and Stephen can further use his adrenaline and passive amping abilities if he wants to.

Both have prior knowledge of each other

The battle takes place in the same lab too, of Glitchtale.

Speed is = (Same reasoning as Round 1)

Rest is SBA.

If i missed anything important that would make this a stomp, make me know.

Or at least it would be if Betty didn't just slash his soul and make him commit die

Not really a good match up when certain things are considered. Also, if you're gonna do rounds, please do an odd number of them. Makes it easier to summarize and tell the winner.

Round 1: Stephen AP Stomp GG. (Betty got soul stealing, so maybe not a stomp since its one shot potential on both sides)

Round 2: Betty Nigh AP Stomp (Slightly above baseline 8-B vs 8-A) + Soul Stealing GG.

Conclusion: Sour Match

When did Betty use soul stealing as an instant shot? Isn't that just basically with her spear and not like instant? I feel Stephen can further dodge her spear shots (via his pseudo-precog) directed to his soul unless im mistaken or forgetting something. He also got two abilities with stat amp, though it still not makes him climb up to 8-A using the reference multipliers.

I've rewatched two glitchtale episodes and what i've seen is Betty stealing souls via her spear and trying to slash one's soul with her scythe. So i think he have a chance in second round.

Anyways, if both sides think the outcome is still the same, i will count the votes as inconclusive due to being a pseudo-tie or directly closing this via being a stomp in both sides.
