ability rollup

He should have immortality for transcending Arkay, the concept of life and death. Not sure what immortality, so that is up to debate.

He should also have light and darkness manipulation for being the fusion of the concepts of Anu and Padomay, who are darkness and light, plus stasis and change.

Dream manipulation for being a dreamer like all Amaranths. Amaranths themselves have the ability to dream an entire multiverse and as well as dream reality.

Also should be noted he is abstract like all Higher entities in TES. he should also have conceptual manipulation along with it.

not sure if this should count as an ability but he also predates and transcends the concept of absolute nonexistence (Sithis) and the concept of the void (also Sithis. Maybe nocturnal as well)

mm might I add that he transcends the concepts of space and time altogether.

Thoughts?

Hmmm I don't know how I feel about changing the Satakal's profile. Since it's never going to be used in a fight and it's probably always going to be unknown.

I'm not even sure what the Satakal is, or if it even exists. This is a weird one.

Mmm. Bethesda really isn't one to touch up on Yokudan myths.

However what we do know about it, I feel like I should touch up the abilities.

It's quite clear from the Annuad that Satakal is a fusion of Anu and Padomay and those two have quite a lot of information going for them. As for immortality, the best i can think of without bumping it up to 1-A is type 4 simply via its status of god above the god of life and death. I'm skeptical that Arkay embodies life and death on a conceptual level, unless you can find a quote. Also the concepts of space and time in TES is 5-D, furthermore i don't believe satakal actually transcends sithis as it is technically a fusion of sithis and anuiel who are just the essences of anu and padomay. The tier is unknown likely due to the lack of clarity as to the nature of amaranths and ambiguity on dimensions in TES.

EDIT: otherwise i agree with the suggested abilities.

yes. but. the thing is sithis is simply a single entity across an infinite and vast amount of Aurbises. Sithis and Anui-El are also considered the Aurbis as a whole.. whereas Satakal is infinitely greater than the Aurbis and the Aurbis is one out of an infinite amount of multiverses.

Satakal likely just sees it as me and you do an ant.

I am fine with adding the new abilities, but do not think that we have enough evidence to give the entity a 1-A rating. It is probably best if it remains as unknown.

I suppose it's okay to add immortality. But I don't know what type is appropriate.

Dream manipulation? Not so sure about that one, the Aurbis is not a literal dream, it's a metaphorical dream. And the Amaranth's don't have conscious control over it.

I think the same is kinda true for the other abilities.

So, should I unlock Satakal's profile?

The powers mentioned in the first post.

I do not remember all of the exact numbers for the different types.

@Shazam however Amaranths are able to dream up entire realities. To create realism out of dream has to show a degree of DM

So, should I unlock the profile, so you can add the additional powers?

Okay. Tell me here when you are done.

Okay. Should I close this thread then?

if it's on every level, I'm pretty sure that's the definition of type 10

Or not

"Entities that are not alive or dead in a conventional sense, standing outside the ordinary laws of reality, temporality, and dimensionality (of any number)"

Type 10 immortality is only for tier 1-A characters.

Though all of the et'Ada transcend life and death, they existed before the concept of mortality (something Lorkhan thought up). The Satakal doesn't really seem to fit into any of the different types of immortality we have. Type 8 and 9 are probably the closest matches.

Is transcending life and death, the same as transcending permanent destruction? What i mean is, can satakal be destroyed, but not killed?

Yeah it would be inaccurate to say the Satakal could die, it's not a biological creature. Destroyed would be the right word for it.
