So the main thing about Sasaki is that he has a stupidly good analytically prediction.
He analyzes all of creation and simulates thousands of different possible situations and outcomes which allows him to know about basically any possible attack pattern the opponent can throw at him.

So hitting him is really hard

Not only has he taken the experience from fighting other swordsmen throughout his living life, such as against Musashi Miyamoto, he's enhanced it even more for the 400 years he's been in heaven. He's able to analyze any future outcome, up in the thousands, and it only grows more in battle, reaching a point where he can scan all of creation. And he did this against a God with billions of years of experience.

It also let's him grow in speed pretty blatantly.

Yeah ig it technically isn't a complete stomp but AS is not touching Sasaki with the sun blade before running out of stamina.
