1. This is a nebulous point on you part we already have seen weaker gots like Hakaishin don’t need to hairs their hands to erase things that’s more so a character trait on Zenos part.

We take stuff has happening in-character. Hakaishins having better IC moves does not mean that Zeno would too just because he's stronger.

Plus the Hakai was always used as a Ki Blast, or needs them to physically grab the opponent (like with Zamasu).

2. Doesn’t grate the fact the match is a stomp and there’s nothing his opponent can do.

This is true, but only for the distance thingy (like there are 2 votes for Sans after all).
