I was reading War of Kings, Nova tie ins specifically, and I found something that could give to Nova (Sam Alexander) a solid tier. Robbie Rider, Richard Rider's brother, using all his power could immobilize Strontian, Gladiator's cousin (who is almost as powerful as his brother and stronger than Richard Rider) for a relatively considerable time, and could have lasted longer if he had not lost his concentration. And that was done by a very casual Nova Corps member.
Sam Alexander is not a casual Nova Corps member, he, in fact, has a Super Nova/Black Nova helmet, which grants more Nova Force and are more powerful than the normal ones, and those helmets were used later by the black ops unit of the Nova Corp, so Sam Alexander is more powerful than a normal Nova Corp member and more powerful than Robbie Rider. In addition to this, we have his encounters with Beta Ray Bill and that survived that hit from Hulk, but specially his encounters with Warbringer, who was powerful enough to fight with Thor and the whole Avengers team, which has also Iron Man with his prime Armor in his team roster, and Sam could fight against him alone in his own series. So, this could give Sam a 4-B tiearing. What do you think?
