Sabo vs Yamato(Fire vs Ice)

Yeah we're doing this again. Sabo tries to get revenge on Yamato for clapping his brother. Battle takes place in the same place Yamato and Ace fought. Sabo is in his current key.

Sabo:

Yamato:

Anyway Sabo is kind of a bad matchup for Yamato. His fire can melt her ice, and although she may be able to blitz with Thunder Bagua her base ap can't put down Sabo, and I think he has enough stamina to tank one. Yamato doesn't spam her Thunder Bagua though. It all comes down to who can strike the finishing blow first. Sabo's dura neg will probably give him a small edge.

Namuji Hyoga's coldness scales far above Sabo's fire for now.

And ice extingushes fire, thus cancelling eachother out. And that's assuming IF his fire is as hot as Kaido's. (Edit: Damn Monke beat me to it)

Sabo's dura neg
He doesn't have it

Yamato should have a slight AP advantage thanks to her Zoan transformation and her Hao Infusion, but Sabo dues have dura neg and a larger arsenal of ranged attacks (not to mention more martial arts/cqc skill), and speed is equal (though Yamato's Zoan form gives her the speed advantage)...

Hmm...

This is indeed a tough match.

Yamato's AP Amps are her Hybrid Form and Hao Infusion, letting her fight evenly with an enraged Hao Infusion Hybrid Kaido.

Sabo, who while casual scales >= Jesus Burgess's durability which 2 years earlier endured a hit from Sengoku without much injury, has his rage boost, Devil Fruit, Haki, and Ryusoken.

It seems like Yamato's Hybrid Form with Hao has enough stamina, durability, AP, and speed (especially with Thunder Bagua) to simply overpower Sabo.

Voting Yamato High-Extreme Diff

Sabo's dura neg will probably give him a small edge.
IIRC We've agreed more or less that his Ryu Ryu technique is damage boost, not dura neg.

It wasn't really even. As you can see above, she was panting after a clash with Kaidou, whilst he was fine. She made little to no headway, and was clearly shown inferior to him(I.E Vajra Arrow vs Narikabura). Feats in that fight still should have her above Sabo in A.P for now.

Just >. Had him on the floor after a kick, broke his armor with an attack whilst unharmed himself etc. Also you misnamed Ryusoken.

Overpower yes. I feel like Sabo's versatility will give him enough some edge. Then again Yamato could probably just charge through, as her ice cancels his fire.

Via Stamina probably. Changing vote.

What the **** is a ryu ryu no mi
That's the Dinosaur fruits.

I forgot what the martial art he used was called.

My vote goes to Sabo.

Although Yamato may have the advantage in terms of raw power, Sabo's fighting prowess gives him the edge. His stamina and endurance allow him to take Yamato's attacks, and his mobility and skill give him the ability to dodge and counter with devastating blows. Sabo's intelligence and experience also allow him to identify and exploit weaknesses in Yamato's fighting style.

If Yamato were to hit Sabo with multiple attacks, Sabo could counter with a single powerful wave of fire that could make Yamato reel back. While Yamato is engulfed in flames, Sabo could follow up with a strike to the head or target her internal organs. Sabo is also intelligent enough to realize the threat of Yamato's raw power, and he could choose to stay in the air and attack from a distance, similar to how King did when he fought Zoro.

While Yamato may be stronger overall in the One Piece world, in this particular matchup, Sabo's skill and tactics give him the advantage.

Fair points, however:
Yamato's ice >= Sabo's flames ( I say >= because iirc Sabo did seem to burn Fujitora so that must mean something)
And she can blitz him with Thunder Bagua iirc.
If he camps the air, she can shoot ice at him or use Narikabura Arrow, though the latter isn't too powerful.
She seems to have the AP, Dura, Haki and Speed advantage somewhat.
Sabo may have a range advantage, plus he's more tactical, but that's it.
Might vote Yamato, Sabo sadly just doesn't have many answers to her abundance of advantages over him.

Yamato's advantages:

1. Stamina
2. Speed w/ Thunder Bagua, as well as reaction speed
3. Durability w/ Zoan
4. Likely superior AP in Zoan, especially w/ Hao Infusion
5. Likely better buso Haki

Sabo's advantages:

1. His fire allows for more versatility than Yamato's Ice
2. Matched Issho and GB in speed, so he can keep up with Yamato, but she's still faster by a moderate margin
3. Stat amps in the form of Haki and Ryusoken
4. Enough AP to be >= Base Yamato and keep up with her Zoan form
5. Better at H2H

I still vote Yamato since her speed and power will give her a high-extreme diff win. She's just too damn strong and tough to beat.
