Story: It had been a day since Loot and Vann had their bout in the Supreme Tournament’s first round. The purple stickman was a bit bummed at losing his chance to win big, but he got a friend out of it. The two were strolling together trying every nearby ice cream flavor when some odd red creatures came into their view. Almost like less evolved versions of them. But something was off. They were pillaging! One of them announced his presence. “Hand over all you’ve got, or face our mighty weapons!” He cried, pointing a bazooka at some civilians.

Vann was a bit confused. He turns to Loot, “Should we do something here?” The green girl was unnerved by the Red Stickmen’s evil ways. Yet a glimpse of courage sparked up within her.
“We can’t just let these people be robbed! Think about all the stuff those guys have already stolen.”
Vann shrugged. The girl had a point. “Well I sure wouldn’t want my cool things taken,” He raised his voice to catch the evil stickmen’s attentions. “Hey, you better quit doing that or I’ll ram yah!”

The two red men were a bit startled by someone sticking up to them. One shakily turned over, brushing off his fear. “And what say will you do about it if we don’t?” Vann smirked, “I already told you! So you better get ready for some action. Don’t wanna leave you in the dust, right Loot?” He turned back to Loot who was a bit caught off guard. “Right!” The masked girl said, brandishing her guitar.

The Red Stickmen raised their weapons, “We won’t let you interrupt our business. Especially when we spent 11 whole minutes preparing this area for the taking.” There would be no reasoning. Now it was a full fledged confrontation between the two parties…
  • All fighters are 8-A
  • Speed is equalized
  • Fight takes place in a busy market street
  • Red Stickmen have 11 minutes to prep
  • Win via both members of an opposing team being knocked out, incapacitated, or killed
  • SBA for anything else
Rushing Harmony: 4 (Minty, Froggy, Vene, Javen)

Vann should start with a charge on his board while Loot will try melee with her guitar

Awesome background story as always, it was a pleasure to read! 👀
  • Red Stickmen have 11 minutes to prep
Worth noting that one stickman was placing bombs for 11 minutes, while the other set both of their Cheap clone machines for 10 minutes (it could be done within 30 seconds if the Red Stickman cared to read the manual), giving both 1 minute to deploy their cheap clone-prints, one being print with heat spear and other with dura-neg large axe
  • Cheap clone machine - Needs 10 minutes of preparation time. Red Stickman builds a 3D fleshprinter from pre-set parts he brings. The machine scans him completely and using 3D printing future technology will produce a slightly weaker, ugly clone of him each 3/4 of a second, upon fight starting. Unfortunately, due to saving money on the "clone mind developing part", each 3rd clone will become a failure, which joins the enemy side.
With each second clone and betraying one killing themselves, it leaves (120 seconds x 1.333) / 3 => 53 clones and dozens of corpses on the ground, Vann and Loot came at in right time before the army would be duped to rob everyone weak for them to beat. The IQ and skill of cheap clones is questionable however, enough for them to damage themselves now and then with their weapons... 🗿

So they have weapons and clones, some being defective and joining the other team. I think the Reds will struggle to catch either of these guys between Vann’s mobility and defense and Loot’s hax making them float or slow down if they aren’t just blasted away. And while they have dura neg, Loot can burst their eardrums with Red Blast.

If both of them rush into their horde to beat them one after another, the dozens of clones (undefective) will try throwing dura-neg Axes into the air like boomerangs, while those with heat spears will try to snipe them with singular throws, causing heat damage even when dodged (how are Vann and Loot resistant to heat?). Many clones won't successfully catch the boomerang-throwing axes back and will get sliced to pieces, but for some time the danmaku could be really overwhelming.

Also there are the 2 clone machines pumping 2 more clones each 3/4 second, but they have to slay the defective clones being produced with 0.33% rate. Sound hax will help a little, but the clones can keep mindlessly throwing boomerang-axes/heat-spears further, even if lost hearing

Neither of them have great heat resistance but Loot once she gets close would try Green Float, throwing all of the Red Stickmen off while Vann stays flying and attacking since he’s used to its effects. A good bit of the Reds should be taken to the ground before GF’s effect ends and they all fall.

Once they’ve landed, the Red Stickmen being mostly out of the way should let Loot or Vann notice the cloning machine and try to attack it before they recover.

  • Green Float: A flurry of quavers come around Loot, making her and whoever comes close to her fly into the sky. This move can let her evade or weaken enemy attacks by sending their force the wrong direction
So the Red Stickmen would start to float into their height, where Loot and Vann could slay them way more effectively? Suppose the Stickmen would begin to scream in absolute terror and would hold to the ground as much as possible, which will may make the combo less effective (given they have tools to hold more effectively), but no-one would keep throwing the spears damaging them...

The few stickmen still caught off-guard and floating would start mindlessly swinging with their weapon around them (dura neg axes and heat spears), and since when scared they get massive speed amp to run away cowardly (and they cannot, they are levitating), the speed boost would sign up on the way faster "mindlessly swinging", up to the point of their swings making balls of defensive around them. How could Loot and Vann get through that before Green Float runs out?

Or is the Green Float aimed to distract Reds for the cloning machines to be unprotected? If that's the case, their plan actually has a good point

I’m not sure they could hold on with the LS difference (Class 5 vs Class 50). So the ones swinging would probably be flipped the wrong direction with their center of gravity thrown off meaning they’d just swing at air while L and V get the more open ones. Float only lasts a few seconds so they likely just don’t run into those ones before everyone starts falling.

I don’t think the machines would be noticed until after the effect ends so they’d just be targeted after Float ends and the Red Stickmen are left recovering on the ground. Loot can Danmaku one with Red Blast while Vann Board Ram’s the other.

The LS difference is fair, but then even more reds will mindlessly swing around themselves speed amped

  • Red Blast: The Mystical Guitar releases a long string of conjoined quaver notes which disperse and fly towards enemies. This move releases a fierce sound with enough power to blow back objects and people alike as well as make it hard for Loot to redirect her aim while using it
  • Board Ram: Vann crashes into an opponent, putting them against a wall. He can follow this up with dragging them along or a melee combo
The durability of cheap clone machines is absolute garbage, they would be one-shot, followed by a decent self-destruction explosion taking out more clones around, Vann attacking with melee dash may get hurt also though.

Observing carefully, the two original Reds in the middle of this will use:
  • Technology replicate - Red Stickmen engeneers specialize on making cheap replicas of enemy technology, and possess replicating boxes to do so even in heat of the battle. The boxes automatically transform into a little worse and more unstable versions of the opponent technology they are pointing at (while pressing their button)
The double of the original Reds now have replicas of the Mystical Guitar and Vann's floating Ram, one would likely test the Red Blast on several Red Stickman clones nearby. Seeing its effectiveness, they would spend all their replicating boxes for more Mystical Guitars and floating Rams (cheaper replicas), throwing them to the cloned reds remaining to make their forces stronger.

How big is the explosion? Vann could guard it with his board if it isn’t too big AOE wise.

The Reds copying their weapons would definitely be surprising. Though I wonder if they could get the guitar since its magic abilities are magical. Also Floating Ram is a nice name for the board. Anyways Loot would likely wait to see if they try and attack while Vann would rush in to show them who’s really better with the hoverboard.

Enough to tear several Red Stickmen clones around into singular limbs flying in multiple directions (in 2012 drawing, any Red Stickmen equipment destroyed turns into this red ball of fire killing reds, it seems to be 1,5x wide compared to the equipment exploding, such as the helicopters there)

The replica guitar would send glitching strings of conjoined quaver notes sounding just terrible and flickering around instead going forward, with nerfed AP, but it should manage to produce something comparable to original magic. Most of cloned Reds (now on air skateboards) will rush while playing the awfully sounding notes somehow levitating around them against Vann, kinda like su -icidal kamikazes. Others will once more throw damage-neg boomerang axes and heat spears at Loot, while the main two Stickmen will forget about the battle and ask each other about the weather today.

If Loot stops levitating, will the bombs laying in the ground prove effective?

So Vann could take a chunk of damage from that even if partly reduced.

The clones still haven’t seen Purple Stop, so that could halt some of them long enough for Loot to defend from weapons and Vann to deal damage in the area. It seems like the clones will be cleared out in due time, leaving just the main two. The mines could be an issue, but Vann should take notice if they go off and help Loot with those. He can go for a few minutes before needing a recharge so he should be good carrying her while she uses more Red Blasts to clear out.

  • Purple Stop: Just like with Green Float, a field of quavers surround Loot. These purple quavers instantly halt the momentum of things coming her way, making them just about stop dead in their tracks. Used on smaller things like energy blasts, it can completely hold them still. It can also halt Loot, giving her ample opportunity to deal coordinated blows or stop a potentially rough fall
Technically the clones with replica guitars should be able to use Purple Stop, but they aren't likely to figure out the replicas can do that. If Loot shows them, they will start imitating it like monkeys, as it is a powerful move. That could prove really troublesome to Vann, if they stop his movement with multiple guitars while others will send red notes, dura neg axes and heat spears at him.
  • Green Float: A flurry of quavers come around Loot, making her and whoever comes close to her fly into the sky. This move can let her evade or weaken enemy attacks by sending their force the wrong direction
Some clones could be instructed to use Green Floats at Loot to difficult saving Vann, replica Green Floats will cause more minor floating, but then again they have the remaining numbers left.

They could, but there would still be plenty of them wiped out on the first go since they’d be too slow to really activate the power. And then once it’s up they have to realize they can copy it. As for slowing Vann, anything that enters the radius while the ability is active is slowed, even if they join in later. So they’d have to coordinate for the moment things gain speed again to hit Vann dead on. And Loot could use melee and Red Blast to clear out multiple clones to get to Vann in time if he’s struggling.

Once the replicas are made from the boxes and are in the hands of red clones, they don't have to copy anything, its copy based on Technology Manipulation already. They just need to know it can send these attacks and techniques, which Loot would show them by beating them.

So if they layer many worse versions of slowing 'Purple Stop' fields on him, the slowness doesn't stack? If the dura-neg axes/spears and notes slow down too while approaching Vann, he has good odds of escaping. Would the heat emitting from heat spears approaching him slow down in speed as well?

Yeah that’s what I meant.

That would just slow everything for a bit all at once. Heat is energy, so likely. It can slow down things like light so heat should work.

If a light is slowed, agree it should work. How would Vann escape if "slowed time" is diminished at once and dozens of projectiles accumulated in a bubble around him fly at him from all sides, including the heat from heat spears? Dozens of dozens with Red horribly sounding weaker notes, Vann is in a tight spot there

Once the time is back to normal, he should be able to regain his speed after a few seconds. Though if they keep throwing that could be bad. He could try going straight up to avoid them all easier. It may depend on if Loot gets to his aid fast enough, she should be in a rush with all the Reds splitting them up. And of course she’s far more skilled with the guitar than them and can use Green to move faster.

If cloned reds get commanded (by the single non-idiotic Red Stickman there is), they will throw the spears/dura-neg axes and launch notes from all angles to form a "ball prison" around the slowed field in which Vann would be, so much that there wont be a safe opening to jump throughout. Although some clones will fall down and get nuked by bombs on the ground, replica Hovering Rams with Greens could help them get above Vann to throw the triple of things at him in slowed field too. Then all replica purple will be deactivated at once (clones not smart enough to deactivate it will smash break the replica guitars instead).

It's true there is fewer clones, but those aiming at Loot would use:
  • Red Stickman rush - Red Stickmen gonna throw all equipment into the grass (as it's heavy to hold it) and runs towards a several stat-tier higher opponent with the Illusion Manipulation of defeating him bare handed ☠️. The illusion of winning this way in Red Stickman's head is so strong, it resists Mind Manipulation and Fear Manipulation, until it's proven to be nothing more than an illusion.
A kamikaze move, but this time the replica guitars using Green will get welded at cloned Reds backs (by the second original Red Stickman) and these kamikaze Reds will only focus on running at Loot with their fear speed amp (where modified green should allow to "run in air", cloned Reds being a projectile themselves, while further carrying some bombs and exploding to try to prevent Loot from saving Vann.

That sounds like it’d need a lot of clones. There was only 53 to start with and there’s the ones taken out during the first Green Float plus the ones targeting Loot subtracted from that along with the ones who’d fall. I’m not sure there’s enough clones to coordinate such a large amount of spears on all sides, especially with someone as mobile as Vann. Not to mention the accuracy they all would need while barely being able to ride their boards.

So Loot will be held up for a small while. She has Red Blast to clear out the ones just running. The ones midair will be tougher to handle though. Loot and Vann are both high end MCB, so she should be able to survive some bombs.

There were some clones made before cheap cloning machines got destroyed, but it's true their accuracy lacks to do a "perfect sphere" of attacks around it (which for example just several FU Android Soldiers could do), and the numbers aren't enough to spam the sphere without skill

Vann with his mobility can fly through an opening in it then? (once replica purple is diminished). With a lot of guitars wrecked, the clones there seem at a big disadvantage with Vann escaping

The bombs at them will make red notes way more effective, guess she cannot stop all the air ones with purple then. 8-A mines weld at stickmen's backs seems to do decent damage (despite the clone body tanking some of it, they aren't smart enough to turn midair and let Loot take full blast), the distraction with pure gore (blood and libs exploding directly at her and around) could also be dangerous. How would she react, can she keep a sane mind after numerous gore explosions directly to her face? (Red Stickmen are devious I know, sending their own troops like this, high sin-meters)

Yeah, I think with the amount already killed plus their lacking aim, Vann flying up will let him narrowly escape the dura neg.

So you’re saying Red Blast will set off the bombs planted and start killing the Red Stickmen? Even if fighters are willing to kill in this scenario, the shock would certainly distract Loot.

Yeah, I think with the amount already killed plus their lacking aim, Vann flying up will let him narrowly escape the dura neg.
Catching Vann will be now more difficult with less guitars + Vann can kill some and repeat his escape, regular reds aren't smart enough to learn from their mistakes (further if they are cloned clones, the originals are clones already)

Yeah, the mines at land will clear those running at her at land, would she aim at the surface (I counted with the mines turning against them). As for gore explosions, will traumatized Loot damaged by explosion(s) + covered in blood and parts of Stickmen be able to dodge a red laser beam (low 7-C) aimed at her with replica Laser Bazooka, the moment original reds playing dirty were waiting for? :d
  • Replica Laser Bazooka - Some Red Stickman carry replica weapons of FU Androids. Due to not being able to recreate their precision, range parts, and safety measures, these replica bazookas get stuck in place for 2 seconds while shooting (making the holder unable to move) and have 1/5 chance of exploding upon firing, killing their holder. The laser beam fired is also flashing and can't reach as far as the original.

Loot may not notice it. But Vann, free from the clones pursuing him, could guard the laser. He could also help Loot out of her prone state, his encouragement was what gave her her second key’s power boost. So with them together versus whatever remaining clones and the actual Reds with their lasers that take charging time and have a 1/5 chance of killing them, they have good odds of winning if things stay like this.

The small wincoin for Reds there is traumatized Loot getting one hit by the replica laser just while Vann is slowed down, the timing has a low chance tho as Loot would need to tank the explosion soon just when air kamikaze clones start rushing before Vann takes out most of the clones facing him. But there would still be Vann remaining, how would he face Loot KO'd for good while facing the remaining forces in this scenario?
+ The replica bazooka doesn't have to charge, it rather gets stuck for 2 seconds at a place, leaving the user vulnerable

For more likely scenario of this failing, half of the remaining clones are taken out, and others self-exploded, the two original clones would use (one spending savings on the tank while the other on robots):
  • Two Red Ninja bots - posses Low 7-C second-hand armor and low-batteries-lightsabers, which start downscaling from 8-A upon being turned on, hitting 11-C AP tier within 2-4 minutes. Then the lightsabers need to be charged for 10 hours, making it possible to turn them on again.
  • Cheap Tank - Its delivery can be used as an attack itself. The tank possesses Low 7-C durability (8-A from its backside), can shoot replica beams or limitedly reflect attacks with Cheap Mirror, drop mines whenever it drives, and cause a 7-C explosion upon destruction. While driving to the front, the Cheap tank may get stuck in place for a few seconds now and then.
Given its decently smart stickmen (normal IQ), they would put one Ninja bot in the tank, shooting at Vann + Loot while riding towards them, while they would be escaping away guarded with the other Ninja bot.

In that scenario, he’d have to rely on his superior speed and weapon handling to take out the gunners and then the clones. Although in that amount of time, he could run low on gas and need a recharge, leaving him going for reckless attacks in Gasless Mode or just having to defend until he recharges.

The more likely scenario is hard to deal with. The one ninja with a degrading lightsaber is easy enough to deal with, but the tank is really strong. Assuming it’s baseline Low 7-C, it’ll still take a few hits to get through from the front. Loot does have her Danmaku, but there’s attack reflection to worry about, even if she resists her own sound manipulation. It seems like Red Blast would be the best way to deal with it, taking it from range with attacks strong enough to get it down and the ninja with it. If they both survive that, they should be able to take on the other ninja and the two red stickmen.

The tank has also 1/5 chance of destroying itself with each shot (due to the canon being a laser bazooka replica), but given that the tank is filled with explosives, the town nuking explosion would nuke those attacking it melee, likely with escaping stickmen before they get far. Sniping it with red notes could seem to work, if they aren't hit by a piece of tank propelled by the explosion (Small Town level with piece of Cheap Tank flying away from its destruction).
  • Fight takes place in a busy market street
If 2 Stickmen with last robot cowardly escape and hide somewhere before tank is over, would they be capable of finding them? They still would be in the battlefield technically 🗿

Small Town goes from 1-5.8 Kilotons, so Loot and Vann at 750 Tons can survive if it’s a smaller amount and there’s not too much accumulated damage. Of course being hit by the tank at all is the worst case scenario which is why they would flank it from a distance. Vann is reckless, but I doubt he’d wanna fight a tank head on.

Wouldn’t the stickmen running away be not allowed by thread rules? I’m fine with them hiding, but eventually they gotta come out.

That's fair, sooner or later the tank destroys itself, and his pieces will fly everywhere. Doesn't seem the pieces have the potential to one-hit them even on hitting, but it's a great distraction.

In terms of reds, these two are smart, they would search for a hidden spot and would dig a tunnel into the earth using their heat-spears as shovels, likely hiding the hole with an object on the surface, hopefully leaving a small gap for the air to go there. Then they would continue to dig deeper and deeper until they feel secure. There, they would be camping.

If they don't leave a small gap for air, they will likely choke themselves there 🗿 But it seems more likely they wont forget

So basically it becomes a game of if Loot and Vann could find them. Though I’m still unsure if this really counts as a win for either side. Thread rules state opponents can’t willingly forfeit on their own.

Red are still pretty aggressive often blinded to get revenge, they as well might start digging tunnels to unitely stab already damaged Vann (tanked clone machine explosion) and Loot (damages by gore explosions) with Heat Spears when searching for them. Could they react to two heat spears suddenly propelling out of the ground, when distracted to find reds and injured from the fight?

Will the Reds be able to do this without making a sound that could give away their position? Loot and Vann have great endurance plus Loot has Supernatural Willpower so they will be fine to react even after the damage.

I would like to say they can, but that would require the Red Stickmen Assasin skill to pull off. No sound at all is highly unlikely.

Then I feel confident in voting for Loot and Vann as they can survive all the Red Stickmen’s tricks and beat them down with superior skill and intelligence.
