In vs matches what takes priority of the match that is added if there is multiple rounds?

  • Speed equalised vs un-equalised
  • A weaker form match vs a higher form match
  • Prep match vs non-prep match
  • Any mix of the above

Well, a match should preferably have an odd number of rounds, but barring that, it is usually the least altered match that takes priority.

Speed un-equalised > speed equalised

Non-prep > prep, unless one or more characters in the match specialize in prep

Higher form vs weaker form has too many variables, and isn't as clear cut.

This is something that has bugged me as well. A simple solution would be to ask the OP which round has priority and which round is "fluff" for the lack of a better word.
