Ring of Heroes Upgrades?

So, the beta for the Skylanders mobile RPG, Ring of Heroes, has closed, and the full game is slated to come out this August. Until then, I have to ask whether or not the game buffs the Skylanders, or if their Awakened forms should be added to the pages of the corresponding Skylanders? Because from what I do know about the game (I missed out on the beta, sadly)...

• There's nothing about the game that implies that it's non-canon or contradicts the games, unlike the Netflix series.
• Every Skylander in Ring of Heroes gets an Awakened form.
• There are two new Portal Master characters from Earth.
• Hex and Jet-Vac have new Light forms, while Spyro and Spitfire have new Shadow forms that turn them Dark element. All four also have Awakened forms.
