Kratos has time manipulation, soul attacks, reality warping inside a pocket dimension, and can drain life forces of opponents on contact with them.
Renekton has type 4 immortality, dark magic, and can absorb the opponent's life energy just by touching them. He also has experience fighting opponents with hax similar to Kratos' on a daily basis.

Hmmm... Renekton might maybe be able to land a good hit or two... and resist Kratos's hax to some extent...
But Given Kratos's massive speed advantage, he can likely wear him down and keep away from his attacks long enough to hax him to death and obtain a shiny new toy to play with. It's not like he couldn't get through his immortality either, to be honest, he's killed plenty of gods and divine beings in the past.
