Regen from death

This made my head hurt, but I thought it was interesting. I guess you mean regenerating from being "biologically" killed, but what counts as "dead" varies from verse to verse and from character to character.

From a scientific standpoint, no character reduced to less than a cell is biologically "alive" in any sense. So Mid-High and onwards would be akin to resurrection. In other words, recovering from having every "living" part on your body destroyed would probably mean that you are coming back from something lesser, like dust, molecules and so on. But this is only an "Absolute Limit" for those who have, say, type 2 immortality. Most things or characters are supposed die even if not ALL of their cells are dead.

https://www.scienceabc.com/humans/p...cpr-info-brain-death-heart-life-medicine.html From a human (and legal) standpoint, you are considered dead dead when your brain stops working (But science progresses and future developments might change this barrier). This translates to "Mid" Regenerationn, a (relatively normal) human who can come back from having their brain destroyed can come back from what we consider "death".

tl;dr: Mid and upwards to Mid-High and upwards, depending on how "though" or "human-like" your character is. Any Regenerationn better than that is technically resurrection by default.

I have wondered this as well.

Like is there regenerating from poisons, toxins, drowned, suffocation, shock, etc? I mean brain dead is a thing. Regenerating the damaged tissue in your brain from lack of air or other factors is low or something.

What form of Regenerationn would it be if someone were to regenerate from something that would normally kill them according to the laws of their universe?
From what I've heard (and applied to profiles), assuming the "something that would normally kill them" doesn't through it through physical damage, it would be resistance to whatever killed it.

If they regenerated from induced death, they'd have resistance to death manipulation, with a note that it's due to sheer Regenerationn. If they regenerated from poisons/toxins it'd be resistance to poison manipulation.
