This isn't an important thread OR revision for that matter, just something to ensure clarity when debating characters within the versus thread with some sort of idea for their values.

The proposal is margin of upscaling between two characters, i.e. the large strength-wise superiority of a character over the other, by default, should should be considered to be x1.79, as based on the gaps between Spider-Man (Marvel Comics) level and Rhino (Marvel Comics) level characters, based on Drite's calculation on Mettle and Ugarik's base Spider-Man calc

Note that stomping someone of course results in a far higher gap than the one, this is just those characters who show a consistent physical superiority.

TL;DR Anyone way stronger than the other has a 1.8x AP gap from them, based on Spoodrman and hornyboi calcs, this is applicable across the verse below High 3-A

I do not think that we can apply a set standard for this. Marvel is far too inconsistent for that in terms of matchup scaling.

Using a random number like that just because it coincidentally fits for 2 characters and those who scale to them and making it a "rule" for an entire verse with decades of history and over 500 profiles.

I obviously disagree. No fiction goes by a fixed standard like that consistently, and one that is based on OUR calcs, not even some in-verse rule.

So should we close this thread?

Btw: AKM, your username is not green anymore. Can you check up this error please?
