No, I'm not going too. That said, I wanted to share my thoughts on this whole situation.
These past months, there has been a ton going down in this wiki. About as much drama as a place like this can have. After today, we'll have lost 3 admins.
So much has gone down that the whole wiki has been drained. We have little to no back up from the powers that be, and it seems relentless.
That said, it is true there needs to be a civil discussion. We can't just bash fandom, but something does need to be done. To those of you who see hypocrisy in what we've said, perhaps it's true. However, it's little more then a cycle if it's said in the same way. Even if you believe that we are just making a mountain out of a mole hill, do your best to make it constructive. It's the least we can all do.
Now, despite this whole situation, this wiki has stood the test of time. Those of you who can't stand for something like this, no one will blame you for leaving. To those who do stay though, do your best to help out. Some things do need to be said, but remember we're a wiki founded on sensibility and order. We're little better than the puppeteers hardly worth mentioning if we don't.
This wiki has been the source of a lot of good memories for me, and I'm sure many of you feel the same way. Doing your best to change it for the better is what we should all strive to do, because it's clear things need to change. I have faith in this wiki, and this community, and if we work and cooperate, we can keep moving forward.
In light of that, remember this is a wiki with people from all different viewpoints, nationalities, races, and thoughts. We can't afford to have something like FANDOM's policies that are so indiscriminate. That said, remember they are there for a reason, and respect what has and does work. Though I'm not sure many people will see this, I hope those who do understand what I'm saying.
I like this wiki. I really do. And if we can make an improvement, we can and should try to achieve it. I hope we can all at least agree on that.
(P.S. If new users see this, we're not usually like this, and we hope you aren't turned away by this. We always welcome new users.)
