Skip to around 3:40 in the video. He gets Mach 4 as his result, and I think the calc is pretty well done. The one he did for the X-Men Quicksilver isn't though and is kinda irrelevant so just ignore that part.

He ran from the ship that was carriering all the cillvians to the car in which hawkeye and the kid were hiding

So why was point C (the one at the end of the bridge) the chosen starting point for his run if he came all the way from the carrier?

Using the same formula and using the carrier as point C would increase the distance and therefore the speed he had to run.

What he did was he took Quicksilver's starting point near the hellicarrier, put a point perpendicular to Hawkeye, and then used the Pythagorean theorem to get the diagonal distance to Hawkeye.

I mean, why did he start at C if Pietro came all the way from the carrier? He could've used the yellow circle as the starting point and yield a bit higher results.

Or was it that Pietro really did start at point C?
