question one. how do i do the bold title like everyone else
question two. when linking to scans is imigur required? or can another image hosting site be used

It is much more preferable if you upload the scans directly to the wiki, but take heed to not go overboard and upload entire manga chapters or comic scans here.

After you upload an image, it's more so to be linked like this in source mode-

[[Media:>Image Name.jpg or png<|description of the ability or hax]]

I personally prefer Imgur myself, as internal wiki image links break quite often. I think it depends on where you intend to post them.

1. If you're putting it in a wiki article, highlight the text you want linked, click the Link button (the one that looks like chain links), then paste the link in the dialog box that pops up.
2. If you're putting it in a forum thread like, say, a CRT, you can get away with just pasting the link in the post you're writing. This forum automatically embeds Imgur links.

Imgur has been currently acting ape-shit lately with the 404s and what-have-you (Plus, imgur is banned in some countries for the stupidest of decisions). For internal wiki image links, usually replacing "static" with "vignette" fixes the problem, but the best way to do it is the [[Media: way that I just mentioned.
