question abt notifications

this is such a dumb question but whenever u accidentally like someone’s post and then unlike it right after - do they still get notified by it?? because omfg i accidentally liked someones post from a long time ago & im literally so scared im finna look like a stalker

like this is literally also the same issue i have with instagram so i’m praying to lord they didn’t see anything or they just dgaf

They do get notified, but I believe if you’re quick enough to unlike within a second or so, the system doesn’t send the notification.
