Question about green lantern ring

Should all green lanterns have the same basic ability? Like if lets say john stewart creates a stasis field, should any GL be able to do it? Because they use the same power and everything. Its just a matter of what the wielder can think of quickly, when in a fight

So should the green lantern ring page be updated with like, everything the ring has shown to do without an external source?

If there is enough stuff, we could make a latern ring page, then put "has all abilities of the green ring, but only desmontrated the ones above", like we do with thanos and the infinity gauntlet.

youre right so I think a CRT is needed for its weapon page

Maybe the page could be huge and contain all rings of the spectrum, but it might take a while and lots of efforts.
