1. What is the difference between specific heat and latent heat?
2. In the formula Q = mc∆t, as I see it so far, "c" is specific heat. Then when should we use latent heat?
3. What is the difference between melting point and boilling point?
4. If there is a feat that changes the temperature of an object from a hot temperature to the freezing point of the object, will "c" always be the material specific heat of the object?
 
1. What is the difference between specific heat and latent heat?
Specific heat is the quantity of heat required to raise the temperature of a material by 1 degree celsius.

Latent heat is the heat required to convert a solid to a liquid, or a liquid to a gas, without changing its temperature.

2. In the formula Q = mc∆t, as I see it so far, "c" is specific heat. Then when should we use latent heat?
You are to combine the results of both.

For melting feats, it's latent heat of fusion. For vaporizing, it's latent heat of vaporization.

3. What is the difference between melting point and boilling point?
Melting point is the temperature at which a material changes from a solid to a liquid.

Boiling point basically is the temperature at which a material changes from a liquid to a gas.

4. If there is a feat that changes the temperature of an object from a hot temperature to the freezing point of the object, will "c" always be the material specific heat of the object?
Yes.
