So Ki is made of 3 things. Courage, Vigor, and Mind. See heres what I'm getting at: Ki their fighting power. But if at least 1/3 of it comes from the mind, then wouldn't that imply that a powerful ki = a powerful mind?

Possible Mind Resistance?

Hyperbolic courage, hyperbolic vigor, and hyperbolic mind. They will not have Resistance to mind as such as they will not Resistance to courage & vigor. Even if they were the real things, the 3 merged isn't the sum of all, so you aren't being attack by them.
