Possible MHA upgrade

SPOILERS UP AHEAD


So in the movie izuku gets a gauntlet that is stated to be able to resist 3 full power hits from All Might. by the end of the movie Midoriya breaks the gauntlet by punching the villian really hard. that should put Izuku at low 7-C.

the main question is, can we consider the movie canon or not?

The movie is in a dubious form of semi-canon. It is of course never referenced and will likely never be referenced within the main manga series itself; but it exists to take place between arcs where it could concievably fit in without totally destroying the story.

Personally I would rather wait to see Deku display those levels of power within the manga itself.

Deku's power in the film was considered an outlier, since it would make characters like Muscular Low 7-B.

I doubt that will ever happen, after all the Full Gauntlet was a plot device to make Deku extremely strong.

But I'm sure the next time Deku uses 100%, it will be well above its current level.
