The calc I linked above uses 20km for the cloud formation distance. However, this cloud formation is actually so large that it's covering the entire realm which contains a Sun!. The purpose of this cloud formation is to block out the Sun and keep the entire realm frozen in time. It's shown that the sun's light cannot be seen in the Ghost Zone.
Note that I've discovered that all realms are inside the Ghost Zone. The doors you go through just lead to deeper parts of the realm. When getting near this realm, no sunlight can be seen, just a dark green sky which is revealed to be a mass of clouds bundled together covering the the realm and blocking the Sun.
I was told that I would need evidence on the distance between the sun and the lower part of the realm but why assume it's any further than our Earth is from our sun. Yes, their realm is not earth but whenever we have a planet or moon destroying feat we use earth or the moon as a default unless we find an actual size. Same goes for distance. If someone fired a blast and destroyed a moon but the planet wasn't earth we would still use the distance between earth and the moon unless we get an actual distance.
So why can't we just use normal sun's distance from earth and apply it here?. This cloud formation is massive enough to block out their realm's sun and even blocks it's light from reaching anywhere in the the Ghost Zone. Thoughts?.
