He looked out from his ship and saw spikes coming out from the ocean. He wasted no time and ate a can of spinach as he saw Godzilla come out from the sea.

Godzilla takes this pretty handily. It resists practically any of Popeye's potentially offensive hax, and can easily kill him with its own. AP seems to be in Popeye's advantage, but not by anything match-changing.

But seriously, that depends on how long it'd keep Godzilla down for the count. Besides, wouldn't Godzilla's stats boosting and RE help it with the strength gap?
