THE PRINCE OF DENMARK

VS.

THE PIG WHO LIKES TO JUMP

Hamlet is 60 joules (10-B)

Peppa is 796 joules (9-C)

Imma be honest, I don't know if Hamlet needs the sword for this to be even. He's a grown man with combat experience fighting a toddler who can hit like a truck, seems even enough to me. AP difference is 13 × though (I'll add the sword if it's a stomp)

Judging by Hamlet's weakness, I don't think he would want to hurt an innocent child even if said child is a talking bipedal pig. Is there any chance he can win by talking Peppa out of fighting him? It's a legitimate win condition for characters with Social Influencing.

Bump? So there's no way Hamlet can take on the pig with that massive AP difference but I'm willing to bet that he can talk her out of fighting him which shouldn't be too hard since she's a child. Voting the Ham Prince.

Looking through this, it would seem that Peppa is the more favorable of the two to win. Peppa has higher AP, sure, but it should be noted that Peppa's jump force would exceed 3400 newtons, yet a football player can exert 1650 lbs (~7340 newtons; https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2023/01/12/nfl-physics-violence/ ) with a tackle, whereas Rocky Marciano can exert 925 lbs of force (4114.6 newtons) over a foot with a punch. When you compare Peppa to Rocky Marciano and even a football player, Peppa's AP of 796 joules doesn't exactly seem all that high considering she achieved that value with her entire body. Hamlet should be able to survive a tackle from Peppa quite a lot more easily than he would survive a tackle from a football player. If Hamlet gets one-shot, it's purely because VBW users need to be educated on how the use of body parts affect a character's AP rating.

Not only that, but given Hamlet's character, who is largely based on honor, Hamlet is very likely to throw the fight rather than take on Peppa. Peppa is generally more confrontational than Hamlet, as shown when Peppa told George to sod off!:

But yeah, while a tackle from Peppa is survivable due to how the use of body parts affects how AP is distributed, Peppa wins since she is generally more confrontational than Hamlet despite her being a preschool show character.

Could Hamlet talk her out of fighting him since it is most likely what he's going to try because he wouldn't wanna fight a kid? If I'm not wrong, Peppa's sole wincon in her fight with Freddy was to talk him out of fighting her and the match was still added.

You forget that SBA match-ups generally have characters "in-character but willing to kill."

Not kill, just win by any means. I can name 2 other added matches where the character with Social Influencing won by talking their opponent out of fighting them.
