Passive "power drain" and UES

question, a verse establishes that X-Enegery is needed for all powers including hax/abilities in a verse including things like super speed, super strength, super endurance, super stamina, super durability etc.

X-energy is also a life force energy so having it means your alive, or something is keeping you alive or in some other weird state of existence.

The Question; If a character passively drains X-Energy would that be passive power nullification?

I don't think so. If the energy is what gives them all of their powers, then taking it away should lead to a reduction in those powers without needing an ability that specifically nullifies them. (Ex. Androids 19 and 20. GT's Super 17.) Although, with all things, context is key. Are you referring to something specific or is this just a general question?

just in a general sense. This energy system is more like a stat amp for the characters

X-Eneergy has "always active affects" which are matter destruction, soul destruction, NPI on souls, and intense heat


when its channeled through the body it gives them a stat amp to become like "Super humans"

this energy drain is stopping the matter, soul destruction, NPI and the heat and preventing them from amping their stats with X-Energy. Whilst also slowly killing them by draining their life force

If it is actively being siphoned off... then yes.
More often than not power removal, absorption or Nullification coincode with each other in fiction.
