The Megapede was flying through the air, it was somewhere in the Sahara desert now, looking all around it for a good spot to land at.
Earlier that week it was driven out of its own turf by some other terrible creatures, it was hoping that after the long and treacherous flight it would find some good crops

treacherous

The sunset was approaching quickly as it was landing, it found itself a small oasis, and so it landed there.
It quickly started gulping water, but soon after that it could feel a rumble in the sand, with a quick reaction it up to the air as a freakishly huge centipede burst from the ground

The two monsters growled at each other, they knew only one of them would come out alive from this

how the **** are they both 6-C

The universe has aligned for this Bambu
Answer its call if you dare

that's ******* awesome, okay

D&D!Megapede:
  • Sound manip is worthless
  • Resists the poison manip of the other guy to a 4-D level
  • Can track the **** out of the other Megapede due to tremorsense
  • Their poison should work on the other megapede, and it reduces their opponent's con and dex, which would make their enemy slower and weaker

GZ!Megapede:
  • I don't know what the benefit of becoming a Cicada is nor what the air manip/water manip implies
  • It seems implicit that the Cicada can fly if it transforms and gets away
  • Better LS if it comes to a grapple, which does seem likely
  • Foam could disrupt some of the enemy's senses, though with Tremorsense I think this is probably moot

AP: No matter how you take it, D&D!Megapede has an advantage here. GZ!Megapede scales to the breath attack of Zilla Jr., who was one-half of the contributing factor in a ~38 Gigaton effect. D&D!Megapede scales to 84.68 Gigatons.

So aye, I'd vote for D&D!Megapede. Poison and AP advantage alone are really considerable here, and disabling the underground mobility advantage of the other guy is noteworthy.

Alright grace is over and the match was added, so this thread can be closed.
