Going with Night Terror vs hax.

They're both pretty comparable in power, both 5-B characters who scaled due to being significantly more powerful than various 5-B characters; albeit Night Terror is overall portrayed to be superior to a somewhat greater extent than Onaga is to his opponents. Onaga is significantly stronger than Shao Kahn, who only defeated him do to poison, who is in turn comparable to Raiden, but that's where the list ends when it comes to him being above baseline 5-B. Night Terror oneshotted the Abyss, who is in turn far superior to base Complete Nightmare and Algol.

Additionally, while both characters have Fire manipulation, Soul manipulation, Resistance to Magic, Flight, and Immortality type 1, Night Terror also has Mind manipulation, Dark Magic, Light manipulation, Regenerationn, Immortality type 6, teleportation, Possession, Reality Warping, Energy Projection, and Durability Negation. Night Terror wins with low difficulty IMO.

Vote added. Solid reasoning.

As a fair note, while I don't know where Night Terror's mind manip and light manip come from, some of the rest isn't combat-applicable. All of the Soul Calibur bosses' reality warping is environmental, 'possession' is most likely referring to Soul Edge itself and its ability to use its wielders as host-bodies, and I'm pretty sure Type 6 Immortality is referring to the same thing that possession is. The latter two only matter if Onaga takes hold of Soul Edge at any point in the fight, which probably won't happen.

I vote Night Terror via ap advantage (one shot Zasalamel who was much stronger than base form Nightmare who was comparable to Algol) and durability negation with Soul Edge (by cutting through dimensions)

I'm betting Night Terror for his hax. Seriosuly the guy can negate Onaga's Durability, BFR him into oblivion or warp reality to grant him a battle field advantage and that's not counting his mind hax or the simple fact that even if Onaga beats him he'll likely succumb to Soul Edge (unless he has feats that he can resist that stuff)

Night Terror doesn't BFR as a means of getting rid of enemies. It simply takes its opponents to (what's retroactively implied to be) Astral Chaos and kills them in that place instead of where they were before. It's not very smart, so the idea of using BFR offensively doesn't really occur to it.

Still, vote added.
