Naruto: Zaku's 8-B

Introduction​

Zaku Abumi has a 8-B rating due to this calculation (16.57 tons of TNT). Because his durability is scaled to this, the entire Part 1 cast is 8-B. Sakura has it for knocking him over with a surprise attack and holding him down, Ino has it for stalemating Sakura, all the men have it because Sakura and Ino are the bottom tiers in terms of physical strength, et cetera. There are two issues with this scaling though:

1. The calculation itself is incorrect.
2. Not everybody scales to the Supersonic Air-Slice (Extreme Decapitating Airwaves).

Problems​

The calculation assumes that the Supersonic Air-Slice vaporized the crater, giving it its 8-B rating. Fun Fact: Air cannot vaporize things. The databooks also state that this Jutsu reduces the environment to dust, so using the vaporization value is invalid.

Using pulverization, the result becomes 0.138215067 tons of TNT (barely 9-A+)

However, nobody was hit by that.

Sasuke, the intended target, simply blitzed and moved around Zaku, so he does not scale; although, he has feats of his own. And nothing suggests that Zaku's physical strength compares to his ultimate jutsu which consumes a hefty amount of Chakra, especially considering Chakra also does not naturally influence physical strength like Ki in Dragon Ball does, as shown with Rock Lee. So Zaku has no reason to scale to the Supersonic Air-Slice.

You may be thinking: "But there were characters who were hit with his blasts and survived". Choji was hit by his Slicing the Air (Decapitating Airwaves), Kin was hit by his Slicing the Air, and Sakura was hit by his Slicing the Air. The only problem is, the Slicing the Air pales in comparison to the Supersonic Air-Slice, with the latter being far superior than the former due to the air pressure overload. His Slicing the Air...s have never displayed any level of power even close to what the Supersonic Air-Slice demonstrated, so they have no reason to scale to his ultimate attack.

Conclusions​

Everybody who scales to 8-B through Zaku would be downgraded to whatever their other feats are.
Zaku should be downgraded to "[placeholder; Sakura's tier], 9-A with Supersonic Air Slice".

on that note, sakura did not challenge zaku. she knocked him to the ground from above with a surprise attack and then bit onto his arm and held him down for a bit before being knocked away with one strike.

Honestly I have no idea how vaporization was ever accepted for this, afaik, if there isn't a direct statement referring to vaporization occuring, it will never be accepted, though this was accepted in 2019 and standards might have been different then.

Anyways, this makes sense, but Zaku’s only other relevant feat is taking a hit from weighted Lee.

This only removes Zaku's calcs and change barely nothing, since Sasuke has 2 8-B feats and Choji one High 8-C feat. The profiles are fine.

• Tenten has no scaling. She was effortlessly beaten by Temari off-screen.
• Shikamaru did not physically engage with Temari during his fight so scaling to her is invalid.
• Hinata did no real damage to Neji and only kept up with his attacks, only to be helplessly beaten once he got serious. Her scaling is invalid.
• Shino defeated Zaku with a sneak attack employed by his bugs.
• Temari was knocked out by Gaara's slap and blocked a kick from Rock Lee with her big ass fan, so her scaling is wonky.
• Nothing suggests that Kankuro is physically comparable to Temari, especially considering he primarily battles with his puppets.
• Rock Lee nearly defeated Dosu with his Front Lotus, even after Zaku cushioned the ground for him, and his Konoha Kick was enough to frighten Dosu, despite Rock Lee already being wounded in the ear. Dosu only defeated him by rupturing his ear, so his scaling is invalid.

This only removes Zaku's calcs and change barely nothing, since Sasuke has 2 8-B feats and Choji one High 8-C feat. The profiles are fine.

Only the top tiers of the students (Naruto, Rock Lee, Kiba, Neji, and Gaara with Sand Manipulation) scale to Sasuke so those 8-B feats only matter to them, and Choji is the strongest of them all so even the High 8-C feat matters, unless I am missing something.

The High 8-C feat doesn't actually matters since it was done by Choji during the end of Part 1, Sasuke's Rescue Arc. And a lot of people already scales to 8-B during the first arc. Choji himself should be stronger than anyone in the rescue squad by statements. He is solid at 8-B.

How exactly does her using the fan, the weapon she uses in every fight, make her scaling wonky?

Just one question, using KE on giant animals is not usable now, so is the calculation of the bear's potency (Via KE) also wrong?

Sasuke isn't scaling directly to the KE of the bear, he is scaling to one shot the bear, who can withstand its own KE.

The point is that KE is not usable for scale and calcs. OPM is an exemple, was downgrade exactly for using the same method
