Naruto/Boruto General Dattebayo Discussion thread #42

It's actually used for other mangas and anime's and since it can be calced at rel speed as well it's a supporting feat. If it's not being used then that's clear biased against Naruto verse.

TTH's calc is blatatnly wrong for scaling from the map, this ins't the map, this is the whole planet hence far more usable in everyway
 
Guys, I don't think any such thing like this is going to go through. Even One Piece that has multiple indications that the planet is bigger than ours - there's even a star sized planet calc - is currently stuck with the standard Earth size.
 
Actually One piece's situation is is that there was a mistak made from the size of the river, treating the length described as 50km across not 50 km long making all of the size calcs for it massively wrong. This is not the case here.
 
One Piece's situation is weird because the statement was about swimming across the river, which inflates the planet to be like star sized.

Treating it down the river still makes it larger than like Neptune.
 
I'm sure I've seen others, such as scaling from the Red Line or something. I never pay attention to stuff like sizes in manga though. I just leave that to the debating buffs because I honestly don't care about anything where the author doesn't give confirmed sizes. Pixel scaling and angsizing will always give varying results.

Depends on which calc you use, i think mine is most accurate since it doesn't rely on guessing where the countries are.

I'll either make a content revision thread or a thread in the calc group discussion threads to sort this out.

  • He's not. He's stated to have frightened Kaguya, which is vague. No reason "why" is given. For all we know it could be as simple as Kaguya was weary of his ability to absorb, maintain and redirect jutsu with greater strength than before. Not that he was a stronger foe, powerwise.

Nothing of the sort is mentioned, nobody was scared of his ability to fire back attacks, not like Kaguya actually uses such attacks in combat. She mostly uses As Bones and BFR, she used the Vacuum Attack like twice, the only thing she said was that she was scared of Momoshiki and Kinshiki coming to Earth, that can only mean raw power given Kaguya herself rarely uses stuff he can absorb

That's not the point. Also, you can't claim Kaguya wasn't weary for that reason.
 
The novels outright stated Kaguya couldn't defeat Kinshiki and Momoshiki, the Anime outright states that Momo and Kin are STRONGER than Kaguya and the manga and movie outright state that she was so scared of them she was building up an army just to fight them.

It's 2019 why is Momoshiki vs Kaguya even a discussion.

  • What novels and link to translations of parts stating this.
  • Nothing of the sort is stated in the anime, iirc.
  • The manga and movie state she was scared, but doesn't give a reason why, which makes anything anyone says an assumption.
Again, you don't have to be stronger than someone for them to fear you.

Cause u have people who doesn't want to think that or they are just biased to the series in general....wait the novel is canon?
 
Yeah but we do know that Momoshiki is stronger. He has eaten way more chakra fruits, abilities are way more dangerous, and his transmutation ability is the worst.


Kishi has portrayed Momoshiki as stronger than Kaguya in every medium

As for the manga and Movie one only needs to understand context and common sense
Kaguya was scared because Momoshiki and Kinshiki were coming to take her chakra away and punish her, why would she be scared if she was stronger than them? It makes no sense.

  • Boruto Novel is written by Kodachi, not Kishi (Hollow Point but still)
  • Looks like I remembered incorrectly in the Anime.
  • Madara and Hashirama are by far, stronger than Itachi and Shisui. Do you think they have no reason to be weary of them? 0 reasons to.
Btw, the Boruto Movie Novel shouldn't be used as proof as it's incredibly inconsistent. Just saying. But ok, I concede, though I don't believe the gap is noteworthy and I disagree with Naruto and Sasuke being stronger than Hagoromo.

and sasujke = naruto = full power momo
 
Madara and Hashirama aren't a valid comparison. Why? Because Madara and Hashirama can do more than just absorb Jutsu and fire it back, coming back to Kaguya being way for that reason, if you're referring to simply her Vacuum attacks being useless, that's not the best counter. Naruto wasn't scared of Obito even tho only Senjutsu would work on him. Kaguya can't be scared of Momoshiki simply because he renders one of her many attacks useless. Therefore the only viable conclusion is power, oh and I heard you were getting Kaguya upgraded to 5-A post chakra absorption for everything, I support that so can you put the link here

Also, simply saying Kishi didn't write something doesn't mean much, Kaguya being scared of the two is repeated in so many places "Kishi didn't write it" has lost all validity as an argument. Hell I could show you my copy of Sasuke's story which says the same thing on top of what TTH said

The truth is Sasuke is going bad and is in a situation Kinshiki may kill him if 5 kage comes to help him too late.

And in also, Sasuke cannot use his sword to penetrate him. Causing him to damage low only
