Imagine all fictional verses/characters co-exist within the same world/universe/multiverse, how strong you would make certain characters compare to others?
A few rules to make it more interesting.
1)
Power scaling will be the only method allowed for characters to reach higher Tiers than the ones they have in their profiles, otherwise will have to be the same exactly one on Vs Battles Wiki.
Example 1: Volume 8 Ruby Rose, cannot be put at anything lower or higher than her 7-C, unless you make her scale to characters with higher tiers.
Example 2: SSjB Son Goku and Eternal Sailor Moon, while currently at Low 2-C, can reach 2-C if you making them scale to God Cloth Pegasus Seiya.
2)
Only the most current and/or canon version should be consider for the characters, and when it come with multiple versions of the same character, each will have to be treated as a two different begins (at least when it come with very different versions that are not in anyway the same character).
Example 1: Norse Kratos should be chosen instead of Greek Kratos, or Wano Arc Monkey D. Luffy should be chosen instead of Alabasta Monkey D. Luffy.
Example 2: DMC5 Dante and SMT Dante will have to be treated as two two separated characters, not necessarely with the same abilities or power levels.
3)
As with power scaling in general, the stats that will be affected by it are going to be Attack Potency, Durability, Strength (Striking and Lifting) and Speed (Combat, Reactions and Travel).
Range, Stamina and Intelligence will remain the same, although certain characters may work differently due of how a their abilities are suppost to work.
Also power scaling will only be limited to the character’s regular strength, so that tiers that requid specific/special conditions for the characters to reach.
Example 1: Lucy (Elfen Lied) when scaled to other characters will only be limited to her vectors, since she has always been potrayed as physically strong as a normal human.
Example 2: Hulk's speed when scaled to other characters will only be limited to combat speed and reactions, as he never potrayed as be able to move at faster than light when travel to place to place.
Example 3: Characters that scale to Rebirth Superman will only scale to his 4-B, not his 2-A as that requid him to sundip within hundreds of Suns.
