Shantae's High 8-C rating seems unjustified.

Shantae is ranked at High 8-C because she destroyed the Tinker Tank, when in actuality she did so by going inside the robot, dislodging its joints, and attacking its heart, thus causing it to stop functioning and explode. So it's unreasonable to apply this feat as if she physically contended with it and destroyed it head on.

Shantae can deflect and tank cannonfire fired from a tank around the size of a house. Even without calcing it, I can easily tell you that this is a solid 9-B+ feat.

So, at least Wall level+.

Shantae also has a Building level+ feat via scaling to the Giga Mermaid, who can create lightning strikes for attacks, as lightning strikes generate 5 Gigajoules of energy. As well as this, Shantae has the Storm Puff, which uses cloud-to-ground lightning for an attack, as well as the Mega Puff and the Super Mega Puff, which should both be superior to that.

That should bump her up to Building level+, likely higher.

I have also made a calc for The Pirate Master's cannonballs. It hasn't been accepted yet, but I got 9-A for the low end, and 8-B for the high end. This scales to the Pirate Master's physical stats as well, since his body can withstand the cannons firing with that much power. Thus, Shantae should scale, as even with all of her magic taken away, she could physically contend with him.

Assuming the high end, this should bring her up to City Block level.

Does her durability scale though? Or only her AP?

Current profile only mentions durability in Elephant form and none else.

She should be 8-B in durability as well, as her body can withstand the energy she generates.

There are many cases of characters having much higher ap than their durability and it's not because their body can withstand it.

The page you linked to contains characters that are glass cannons for completely different reasons, mostly via hax. EoH Jotaro has Multiversal reality overwrite, Sans has Karmic Retribution, and with Guts, it's even made clear that his body cannot withstand the power of his physical strikes.

That's completely different. If your physical attacks hit with the force of an atomic bomb without shattering your skeleton, then you should have similar durability to your physical strikes. That is the case here, as Shantae can physically harm people who are capable of either:

1: Harming her

2: Tanking her lightning bolts
