Mo' Questions About Speed

1. How fast plasma bolts go, on Mach speeds? The reason for that is that Doomguy and other characters are ranked as Hypersonic for being able to do so, but I searched on Google, and I didn't saw a single thing about plasma reaching hypersonic speeds. In fact, I didn't saw any speed given to them. If anyone can tell me the speed, I'd also thank me if one could give me the source/calculation for it. (At least for Doomguy's reaction speed. That's something I wnated to know for awhile)

2. This is a more sciency one. Supposing someone was underwater, and said dude accelerated beyond the speed of light underwater... What would happen to him? And if he dies (Which is likely), what would he see if he theorically lived?

3. What is the fastest ballistic weapon ever created by mankind? No rockets, "cutting lasers", bombs. Just a good 'n' old shooter.

4. Why Space Marines from WH40K are depicted as Hypersonic+? I mean, it may just be me, but from what I recall, the highest recorded speeds for a Bolter shot were Mach 2. I don't recall Bolters going Hypersonic+...

5. How fast the sun's ultraviolet rays are?

3) IIRC the fastest bullet is a .17 Remington, which can travel at 1352 m/s, the fastest tank shell is called a Sabot and it travels at 1219 m/s, and the fastest mortar was created by the Germans called the Paris Gun which could fire shells at 1650 m/s.
