Hello everyone, I was looking at Boruto's page on the wiki and noticed he is missing an ability tied to his Vanishing Rasengan, I will be providing the panels for why I think it should have Resistance to Extrasensory Perception. This is my first post so please forgive me for the terrible format.

Firstly, Sasuke explains that Boruto unconsciously applied his lightning style forte to his Rasengan to form a new jutsu, the Vanishing Rasengan. From his perspective, Sasuke asserts that the jutsu vanished right after Boruto released it. The reason why this is important is because Sasuke is capable of perceiving things like chakra, invisible barriers and the Limbo from Madara, that exist in a parallel realm, yet still couldn't perceive the Vanishing Rasengan. This is further reinforced during the Momoshiki arc, where Boruto throws his Vanishing Rasengan that disappeared at Momoshiki, who has multiple Rinnegan, yet still couldn't perceive it. Which Boruto later mocks him for by saying that he can't absorb jutsu he can't see.

It's probably resistance to ESP or stealth mastery you're right. Also I wonder how this affects delta who can see it with her robot thingy

Yea, it seems that way. For Delta, we could just give her a further enhanced ESP.

The mechanics hasn't been explained but based on feats, VR can't be seen or sensed via spiritual awareness.

That seems more like Layered Invisibility for Vanishing Rasengan rather than it resisting anything tbh

The Sharingan, Byakugan, and if I’m not mistaken the Rinnegan can see invisible things.

If Boruto’s vanishing Rasengan can become invisible even to those who can normally see the invisible that would be a layered ability

Edit: if there are cases of it ignoring Nard, Sauce, or Momo’s sensory abilities then it’s probably both tbh

I'm fine with the Vanishing Rasengan having layered Invisibility.

Yea, Momoshiki thinks it dissipates when it goes invisible and Sasuke only came to the conclusion that it goes invisible after seeing its effects on the nearby tree, likely implying he couldn't perceive it at first with all that esp hax he got. With Naruto I'm not too sure because even he wasn't aware of how it fully functioned.
