Minecraft steve in the creeper aw man music video was able to jump at a Creeper from about 5 or 6 blocks away. He did this in 3 frames, since the video is running at 25 FPS, then he did it in 0.120000048. Which is 41.66665 m/s or 49.99998 m/s (depending on if it was 5 or 6).

Edit: He did the 6 block call more. He also punched a creeper who has the same dimensions as a pig thus same weight which would be 300-700 lbs, making a casual punch from steve 9-C to 9-B+, a bit of a downgrade though
