Spike Spiegel is hired by a Yakuza to hunt and bring Mikey's head back to Japan on a platter. Dead only. Mikey is currently hiding from police in the Philippines and is aware Spike is coming for him. Mikey's dark impulse is active because in another run in Spike killed multiple close friends of Mikey. Spike has used all of his bullets, but has just found Mikey's location in his highrise luxury apartment from the manga.
