Pretty sure this is simply a verse mechanic rather than an ability

so how exactly is this Mid Godly as he wasn't shown to die only disappear then reappear

I think it depends on how it came out. He may have done this with the immortality variant. because if there was renewal, it would be renewed in the same place. it dies there and exits the concept that it is connected to immo8.

I can see that but there isn't much context in this scans to provide any solid proof that it is mid godly

also we don't have mid godly Immortality unless he is referring to the soul/mind only regeneration and such but in this context he is just a data
but this said Data is physical in this reality as shown how ones body slowly disintegrate to pure data
