Here we have two psychics and public heroes, renowned in their home countries while being reviled by their enemies. Mere teenagers wielding world-destroying power that someone beyond their age shouldn't come close to having access to, raised by corporate-controlled governments and propped up as the young heroes needed by the world, striving to achieve that impossible ideal. Regardless of their aspirations, their actions and twisted mindsets have led to untold destruction and suffering, and they have shown that they are as ruthless and manipulative as they are charismatic and protective. But in a battle between the UWM and Sumeragi, whose star pupil will Triumph? Will Michael's Light bring a burning end to The Mighty's Ambitions, or will Nova's Psychokinesis clip the Nephilim's Wings? You decide.

Oh also they both pilot a machine called the Star Dragon lol

This is Chaos Hunt Michael and Base Nova. Michael is under Light Corruption which scales above 300 Megatons and grows over time, while Nova scales above 690 Megatons. Both of them are able to access Awakening and Weaponization/Joule at will, and they both scale to the same Surface Destruction feat. Speed is NOT Equalized.

Following. Will like to note that Nova's Gunvolt 3 Key is not in place yet, I've been busy working on the more important characters as of now. However, seems like we're using ASG1 Gunvolt without Weaponization it seems so it doesn't matter

Nova straight up starts with Joule, and tbh the only way this fight can happen would be if ur guy came up to the Firmament Space Station to fight Nova up there which would mean no stealth

Otherwise Nova can just spam Star Dragon lasers. If your guy can't fly up into orbit it's a yikers. If you induce SBA honestly I have no clue how this fight would really work, you can probably just stomp Nova if it took place on the ground since all you gotta do is destroy the machine that harnesses Joules powers

Assuming you made it up there, you'd have to disable Lumen that gives Nova a forcefield that is pretty much gonna be invincible to all of your attacks except ur big super strong moves. Gunvolt it due to his precise control over electrons and Lumen being on the same Septima category as the Azure Striker Septima.

Assuming you make it past that you'd have to fight Weaponized Nova who is gonna make you fight in space on top of a very narrow platform and constant winds that make you just fall off. More importantly, the only way you're gonna reliably damage him is through disabling the shield on his core by constantly attacking the two drones he got to the side (there is no more Lumen to disable), then attacking the shield. It isn't all that easy either, if there is any delay between attacks that hit the drones, the shield comes back on. The reason why GV manages to get past it is because his Flashfield discharge consistent streams of lightning, just multiple bombardment of electricity. Further more, you need to maintain these streams for both drones, and then attack the core for a third target. But say you wanna do the same strat where you just hit him very hard, even GVs most powerful SP Skills didn't do crap for damage in this form (if at all, I haven't fought Nova in a bit with that method). Do all of this WHILE Nova is covering the entire narrow platform with AoE bullshit attacks

If you managed to push him further. He'll use Calamtor Aetherus, he goes Sephiroth mode and drops a meteor on you and there's nothing you can do about it except kill him before it's too late, or you get one shot, even a pissed off Anthem GV (thats like 2 H6As) can't do anything about this. Also the meteor covers one of the drones you need to target too

I'm just going to say that entire post mystifies how this matchup will go, rather than actually clarifying. It's sorta a word salad of a lot of things that probably aren't going to matter

For instance, Michael can indeed fly in this key via using a stage 3 nephillim wing, and even if he got shoved off an arbitrary platform via wind, there isn't enough terminal velocity in the world to actually damage him in any meaningful way (and he wouldn't be vulnerable on the fall down on account of having a pretty solid array of projectiles to fire)

Either way, it's SBA, so they probably just the machine is nearby in Central Park, janky as that prospect sounds. Would probably be better to just hardset this to 7-A or High 6-A, but since conditions are as they are, I'll continue on those assumptions

Titanflesh is a pretty solid counter to Nova's arsenal, considering it's ability to absorb magic overall and it's base amplification to Michael's durability, letting him pretty comfortably withstand any projectiles thrown his way and just go on the offensive from there

Granted, given the AP gap, he would have to get a pretty clean strike to actually hurt Nova, and the more likely scenario is that he decides to absorb Joule and his Glaives while Michael awakens and probably light corrupts, given how he is

From there the matchup intensifies, but it mostly stays the same, with Titanflesh doing a number on Nova's offensive options while Michael can just snipe with Radiant Cataclysm from whatever arbitrary distance he wants

Gonna note that Nova starts with using (not absorbing) Joule's Powers right away, his second phase is when he absorbs her and uses his Glaives. So he basically goes H6A from the start, and gets way stronger than that with his 2nd Phase

Even that isn't happening judging by the fact it's starting in 7-A keys, so

If Joule is just gonna be there, he's just gonna immediately just jump from 7-A to H6-A then lol, that's basically what happened in the game anyways.

GV got into the room, 7-A Nova was like "yo wassup", and then he just turns on Joule powers to go H6-A
