Meta Knight vs GT Vegeta (speed equalized)

Battle of the anti-heroes. Super Saiyan Vegeta and speed equalized since MK seems to be on a much higher end of MFTL+.

This is really, really, REALLY hard. Vegeta has the advantage in ranged attacks, and in close combat. But Meta Knight has mid range covered, because his sword gives him extended melee range. Meta Knight also has teleportation, and can heal himself. And if Vegeta takes that sword, Vegeta screws himself over. On a similar note, if Meta Knight loses the sword, Vegeta will wreck him. Then again, the sword can fight for itself. All in all, I give the incredibly slight edge to Meta Knight, simply because he can heal himself, and still has a few manipulations that can turn the tide.

And before anyone says anything about "combat ability," no. They both have more than enough experience in it to render it moot. By far. Vegeta has formal training, been in wars, and has done all the DBZ stuff, and Meta Knight fought in a war that lasted thousands of years, and still does stuff with Kirby and co.

Meta Knight mid diff. Hes more experienced, a better fighter, has better abilities, and his small size makes him an impossible target amd sorta makes him more durable than Vegeta in terms of durability per square inch so to say. Plus his ability to summon comparable but weaker minions hwlps him low-difd this

Tbh Cal as a fighter Meta is superior to Vegeta in every way possible. More experience, less reckless, can fighr atronger people, less predictable, etc

Speed is equalized, so vegeta can indeed hit this guy. My vote goes for vegeta due to having the advantage in range with energy blasts.

Vegeta wouldn't abuse that advantage. And Meta has the advantage in wvery other category.

Also my point was that being a small target makes you tough to hit. And when one combatant is far smaller and their strength is equal Vegeta will actually have a far more difficult time hurting Meta via durability science.

By that logic, Gohan is much harder to hit as a kid because he was smaller than vegeta when they first fought.

Gohan was much weaker. Meta Knight is not. The science is still applicable therfore and Metas hits will do far more damage to Vegeta than the converse.

Vegeta was weakened due to his tail chopped off and tanking a planet level kamehameha head on.

The former doesn't "weaken" Saiyans per se. It just prevents them from going Oozaru. I don't think Goku got any weaker the many times his tail was cut off. The latter, while strong, is kinda nothing when you put it in relativity. To Vegeta, it's like taking a punch. Just, a ranged punch.

He didn't tank an explosion from the attack which is where the real damage lies. He didn't really tank anything other than being shoved into the air.

Also even while weakened he was well above 20% which is above Gohans paygrade
