Meta-Consciousness Question?

I have a question, I am trying to understand how to accurately describe “Meta-Consciousness”, from what I googled that it is a way for one to be aware of oneself or one’s conscious state.

I was wondering because I come across at times the term Meta in terms of like consciousness or higher consciousness or being able to be aware of one’s own consciousness from a higher perspective. I guess this is where this question is coming from, what kind of power falls under something similar to “Perspective Manipulation”?

If that is the case, would it count as “meta-consciousness” if one is able to view their own consciousness from outside of it? Like if you are looking at a spherical globe which your mind state is the globe.

When you say this, are you referring to a local but higher perspective, where you essentially detach your consciousness from your body and is able to have a birdseye like view over earth for example?

Technically a being could be able to "deepen" their consciousness in the world and perceive reality from a higher and more fundamental perspective. In your case, I understood it as the character's consciousness is X and said character wants to perceive their own consciousness from a different or higher perspective, hence you likened it with the globe. As far as I'm concerned, that would just be either Extrasensory Perception, Cosmic Awareness, Clairvoyance or simply a form of Enhanced Senses.
