Mega Charizard X will generally always win a 1 v 1 against Mega Charizard Y especially under conditions

Well, I think the clear winner is Mega Charizard X. With his 4x resistance to fire, Charizard Y's fire attacks won't do much even in the sun. Charizard X also has access to attacks with higher base power, such as a Tough Claws Dragon Claw. Charizard Y, on the other hand, has nothing that will be majorly effective against Charizard X.

Mega Char. X has a 4x resistance to fire, and has a higher base Attack power that is effective against Mega Char. Y's base Defense stat. Finally, since X has all the Dragon type moves, if he uses Dragon Dance, he won't only be stronger by a long shot, but also faster. Mega Charizard X takes this.
