Mega Ampharos gets slower after it Mega Evolves, not faster.

Im guessing this dosent fall under Game Mechanic since we would then also have to ignore the defense and attack boost.

In the games, Mega Ampharos loses speed in exchange for power (attack) and durability (defense).

Mega Ampharos hasnt had any prominent appearences in the amime (from what ive read) so theres not muvh we can pull from there.

Yep. Ampharos, Heracross, and Obamasnow are some examples of a speed decrease. Many other Megas decrease in other stats.
