Thor vs Magneto
Speed is equalized and both are in-character. 6-C Weakened Thor is being used, Thor upscales from 53.5 Gigatons of TNT and 1.8994591e8 kg while Magneto's Magnetism scales from 23.9 Gigatons of TNT and 1.528e12 kg. The battle takes place in NYC and the starting distance is 100 meters.

Thor:

Magneto:

Inconclusive:

Magneto controls Mjolnir
I'm not sure if Mjolnir will be able to be controlled or held without the other person trying to hold it not being "Worthy."
But the hax that Magneto is kinda crazy.
But I'm mostly going for thor because Thor has a significant AP advantage and has the ability to oneshot if he catches Magneto without his magnetic shields, in which they will be broken eventually.

Magneto is controlling it through subatomic-level metal manipulation and Mjolnir is made out of metal soooo.... It's not like Hulk or Iron Man who move it through sheer strength, he's moving it by controlling each individual atom that makes up Uru

Yes, but Magneto can do the same as well. He also has slightly more advantage bcs he's fighting in the city and can use stuff like cars, poles, rebar, or anything else that is metal to block attacks or harm Thor. Also let's not forget the massive LS difference between them, he can just pin him down with metal or even crush Thor's neck if he wants to

Alr lemme do some research about if Magneto can nullify mjolnir.
(A few inches later) Okay so Magneto can control it. That basically makes mjolnir useless. Might be leaning towards Magneto now but I'll wait for more imput.

Before I write out my opinion on the winner, Mjolnir can be 100% controlled by Magneto's magnetism. Do remember that Kurse backhanded Mjolnir in Thor 2 which means that the hammer only prevents actual possession. Therefore, Magneto can control its trajectory but not its actual abilities.

Anyway, Thor wins with Medium Difficulty. Against beings with long-ranged weapons (such as the Chitauri, The Destroyer, Malekith, and Pre-Eternal Crown Surtur) he uses Mjolnir for attack reflection which seems extremely effective; it'd be unlikely for most of Magneto's magnetism with poles, cars, etc. to work as well.) Magneto's higher LS means that Mjolnir gets taken off his hands, however, are we forgetting that Thor would demolish Magneto hand-to-hand? Magneto's LS is now irrelevant since he needs proper control to use his magnetic powers. If his shields are diminished he's screwed (please remember that he's Human Level without his magnetic powers.) And it's a move that Thor will pull; in the 2012 Avengers, he fought Hulk with a mixture of the hammer + physical strikes.

To add more context to my answer, this is assuming it's an in-character battle since Magneto is rather cocky while Pre-Awakened Thor doesn't mess around as much. Thor can lose if iron is stripped from his body.

Not that I think it'll be a huge thing for Thor's side, just outta curiosity:
Thor's very likely to throw Mjölnir, so wouldn't Magneto controlling it become impossible to do if (when, actually) he does so?
Again, just outta curiosity, since even if this distraction happen I can't see Thor doing anything today.

Magneto wouldn't let Thor get close to H2H, he can keep his distance by constantly throwing things, pin him down with his magnetism, use Thor's equipment against him (Mjölnir and armor), and eventually use some of his hax

Thor has crazy acrobatics that can semi-counter metallic objects. Thor also has material transformation, so he can change his armor to normal clothes to counter the magnetism.

To be honest they're not that crazy, that would work if Magneto only throws one thing at a time, but if he attacks with several objects at once it would overwhelm Thor

iirc Thor needs Mjölnir to do that, which would be controlled by Magneto

Lets not forget they are fighting in a place filled with metal and at a distance of 100 meters. Thor has to cover all of this distance while Magneto just has to play the range game to win

That's one of the reasons why I like to create matches in Minecraft's Superflat infinite world lol
