I don't think Mayuri cannot prepare for that. I remember that Shunsui or someone said Mayuri can find a resolve for any problem in one day, and he is a reality warper himself.

yeah , he said that and yet mayuri couldn't do shit against Kyoka Suigetsu even after months of prep .

so i'd really not rely on that statement .

Shunsui's statement was pretty much a hyperbole, but he definitely can deal with reality warping. Kyoka Suigetsu was a very special case because in Bleach you can't beat it without touching the blade. It fooled final key Yhwach, and we all know who the hell he is.

It only worked because aizen put it on Yhwach while he was pretty much defenseless.

It is probable that mayuri could counter RW , but it mainly depend on the level of it and how it is used .
