Even IF you give rudy a benifit of throwing maxwell in the chalkzone adachi style. Maxwell can still beat him super super easily by writing dead in the notebook. Or just make him compleatly immobile by writing immobile. or Maxwell can just become intangable and summon god or multible clones also with the notebook. he can do alot more than that to instintly end the battle so its a curb stomp for maxwell.

also (correct me if im wrong) rudy cant just write verbs and nouns on the board and make them effect the person he's fighting.

I would think that Rudy could create a ray that gives that adjective, though. Rudy has the advantage of being able to create anything, not just things that are in the dictionary. I still think that Maxwell has the advatage however, since everything Rudy creates is made of chalk.

Would Maxwell have that sort of mindset though? Just starting off with his most broken ability? Can't Rudy just draw something to dispose of that Notebook or distract him from writing?

beginning of the game maxwell would probably start off with somthing broken as heck because he hasent learned his lesson about using his notebook for wrong doing, but rudy can still react and draw way faster than maxwell so rudy might make the first move and finish the battle. if its out of character then maxwell stomps cause he can just become intangable and summon a black hole or somthing

I feel like it would take longer to draw a character than it would to just write something in a notebook. Maxwell usually doesn't fight as far as I'm aware but he usually tries to go for the solution of a problem as fast as possible, so him making Rudy immobile or too stupid to fight are both things he can do and both would take him a second at worst. Even if Rudy gets a drawing off that drawing as to make it Maxwell before Maxwell summons something or gives it an adjective that ko's it. From what I've seen of Chalkzone and from what I've played with Scribblenauts I think Maxwell is more likely to paralyze Rudy before Rudy could pull out anything to dangerous for Maxwell.
