It's not about him clashing with King, it's about it being unprecedented.
King didn't know Sanji was there, which is the whole point.
 
I just want to see what the knowledgeable staff think about this, then it can be closed.

I mean I'm not crazy about it still.

What Kachon is proposing is that while King didn't know Sanji was there for the first clash, he did know for the supposed 2nd clash.

There's nothing for them to say because the clash still happened. The first clash, sure I guess since he didn't know Sanji was there, but the second one is still there so there's no need for anyone to give their input.
