I just don't know about adding it as a notable victory. One thing for sure, Sonic does not have a notable victory against Mario, so I'll take that down.

My question is if a Pure Hearts Mario can be a challenge to Pre Genesis Archie Sonic.

I think Mario would be just a tad too strong for Archie Sonic to handle. Of course beings like Chaos Knuckles and Enerjak would win but not Sonic, though it would be very close.
I think Post-Genesis Archie Sonic who is actually stronger just with less hax barely wins though.

Pre Genesis Archie Sonic has way more Hax because of him being in a super form (chaos Control and the Chaos Force connection in general) which gives him alot of hax like BFR, Ignoring Durability, if he is able to touch somebody its possible he could turn him into a comatose state, also we haven't said anything about his speed
Post Genesis is a iffy but he has chaos Control as well which in post genesis can reality warp

@FkFany Okay? I don't see how starring in two fighting games (one of which has everyone fighting like improvising children) makes Sonic suddenly have more fighting experience than Mario. Mario does way more fighting in his RPGs than Sonic does in his fighters.

I made a thread on the content revision board and no one who could do anything about it responded. We're nigh unanimous in saying that it should be removed. Even if this thread arrived at the conclusion of a victory for Sonic, changing the thread on Sonic's page to this one would be most sensible.
