Mario vs. Midora

While Midora would be a giant, giant threat, his powers would play against him. For one, if he tries to do his atomization stuff, Mario could use the Boo Mushroom and not be made of atoms. Gold Flower makes it that with Midora's uncanny ability to deflect, it would kill Midora. Furthermore, AP advantage and ice manipulation could be used to freeze and shatter him. Hungry Tongue would be a major threat, but Mario could turn his tongue into gold.
 
Nice. How does the gold flower thing work? Is this projectile based? Minority World can reverse function of atoms, it could theoritically revert the transmutation if it's lethal for Midora (since it reverses lethal and non lethal). You want to read the Midora vs Ichiryuu fight? It should be great fun

You are not freezing and shattering midora.

Gourmet Cells are far too adaptative and midora also has Minority world to prevent congelation from happening.

Gold flower needs to land a hit, Minority World makes it so Mario will miss even if he tries to hit midora (just like midora couldnt hit Ichiryuu). No need for deflection if the hits dont land.

How does Mario avoid having his heart stopped by MW? Or his lung malfunctioning?

Hunger Space is a thing, also.
 
How is this even a match, Midora would not waste anytime trying to kill Mario with hungry tongue or even just deflect any attack thrown at midora with minority world. Not to mention midora has an insane copying ability that could actually copy some of marios powers if he needs.

With minority world he legit could heal from any wound that Mario could do to him.

Also cal you do know his tongue eats EVERYTHING in the vicinity of he needs too leaving just patches of an empty void in the air.

Eating Mario in any powerup besides maybe star, ghost or I guess gold(still think he could eat Mario like this.)

Meteor spice could force state the landscape providing Midora a handle to sneak attack Mario from a jig distance from any angle and you know..... eat him I guess?


Midora takes this fight via better haxed, far more skilled, has the superior range by a long shot.
 
the ghost probably works, I doubt Mario could maintain a gold/water form due to how MW works (I mean, he would revert back to being Mario).

However, if Mario stops being a ghost, he loses. So now its just a matter of Midora getting rid of Ghost Mario.

Oh, now that I think about it: shouldnt Midora be able to damage ghost mario via back channels?

Edit: I forgot about the copying abilities, yep, he probably can copy anything Mario can dish out if given enough time.
 
For the record, I'm just playing Devil's Advocate. The High 4-C's that can guarantee a win on him that I can think of on the fly are X and Zero.

Time stop, time travel, other means of transmutation, and if he deflects ice or gold, it's all over. Also, if he does copy Mario's powers, it doesn't matter to Mario. Legit everyone in the verse can have Mario's powers.

Technically, Mario can just stop time and turn him into a mushroom.
 
Deflects ice or gold? What am I missing here? Midora doesnt need to deflect them, he just makes mario miss.
 
That is one of its application, but if he just leaves MW activated (which is incharacter) mario's attacks wont land (if you read the Ichiryuu vs Midora fight, you'll see).

Not even just midora vs ichiryuu, look at midora vs acacia, the man made 8 large planet size fists miss the earth completely
 
I vote for Midora in this one. His abilities are too strong and varied for Mario to contend with and Midora can conceal himself flawlessly to escape detection while killing Mario passively.

It's more like manipulating probability so that all attacks miss, even if they're already in contact with the body. It's not as say delfecting like using forcefield. . Food Luck makes sure opponent doesn't get hit as long its active.

People praise Hungry Space and Minority World, but Midora's most broken ability is Mirror Neuron. He literally adapts, becomes resistant and learns other's abilities while fighting opponent.

Here's a real good feat of his food luck, Joa had already touched his forehead but Satan Hole still missed. By the way that's a FTL blast for sure, maybe you can calc it? Nobody has calced it yet unfortunately

Why is the guy so darn OP (Cal completely ignores the fact that he participated in several GEOM, Arceus, Undertale, Saint Seiya, and 682 threads.)
 
Well on a side note, that scan says time is jyst being slowed, not stopped and it doesn't matter how slowed it is, it's still infinitely below true time stop if it's only time slow. Not sure if that helps Mario though.
 
Wait, since it's time slow instead of time stop, I return my vote to Mario and will continue doing the devil's advocate I did before. Thank you Repp for pointing that out on the Midora vs X thread XD
 
Mora ignored time-stop and time-reversal in an earlier fight. Around chapter 337 I believe.
