When mario gets sick in Superstar saga. He's immediatly bed-bound. So unless anyone has a spare boo suit or ice flower (That are only found on a few planets in the mario verse) Mario's actually as good as gone.

mario just consumes one of his own miracle cures bam cured. that can cure all diseases. according to the dr.mario trophy in melee which states he's kept up with all the viruses. and since the red (fever), blue (chill), and yellow (weird) cover all bases for diseases Mario takes this with ease.

Yeah, the Megavitamins have been pretty much renowned as able to kill viruses, so he just pops one of those, and bam, he wins. Also, in the Superstar Saga case, it wasn't the same way as Composite Virus attacks; it was a disease that would transform him into a bean, and since no virus we know has transmutation, there's no basis to say it'd affect him the same way.

Furthermore, he's been hurt by viruses before in the RPG games and was still fine, and with Refreshing Herbs, could negate any effects that they inflicted on him.
