What does "freezing/burning mana" does/magic does exactly? Preventing mana/magic from generating would be already a kin to Power Nullification.

Mana is basically magical energy, yes (at least, in most settings). I believe preventing energy from be generating (or working properly) would be like Energy Negation, but since that isn't a power here the most similar power would be Power Null (cuz people decide to leave Power Null instead of simply named it Negation, otherwise it could have been Energy Manip + Negation + elaborating).
